Where?

Kitesurf and Wingfoil Cruises in Greece in the Cyclades a unique experience:

The Cyclades are the ultimate destination for kitesurfing catamaran cruises in Greece. This group of 220 islands located east and southeast of Athens, with its crystal-clear turquoise waters, vibrant culture, delicious cuisine, and millions of spots, provides the perfect playground for kitesurfing and wingfoiling during the summer months of June, July, August, and September.

1. **Ideal conditions for kitesurfing**: The Cyclades are known for their consistent winds, especially in summer, with the Meltemi, a northerly wind that often blows consistently. This creates perfect conditions for kitesurfers, whether beginners or more experienced riders.

2. **Magnificent landscapes**: Sailing between the islands, you can enjoy spectacular landscapes, with turquoise waters, heavenly beaches, and typical whitewashed villages. This is a perfect opportunity to combine the adrenaline rush of kitesurfing with breathtaking views.

3. **Accessibility to multiple spots**: Greece offers a wide variety of kitesurfing spots, some quieter for beginners and others more technical for experts. A cruise allows you to visit several islands and discover different spots depending on the weather conditions and your level.

4. **Friendly atmosphere**: Kitesurfing cruises in the Cyclades are often accompanied by a relaxed atmosphere and opportunities to meet other enthusiasts. This allows for enjoyable moments on the water, but also off it, with group meals and discussions around this shared passion.

5. **Cultural exploration**: In addition to kitesurfing, the Cyclades offer a rich history and fascinating culture to discover, with archaeological sites, traditional churches, and delicious Mediterranean cuisine.

In short, a kitesurfing and wingfoiling cruise in the Cyclades combines sport, adventure, discovery, and relaxation in one of Europe’s most beautiful natural settings. It’s a perfect choice for those who want to combine the pleasure of kitesurfing with exploring magnificent landscapes.

A playground that will suit beginners as well as experienced riders, depending on the spots. CBCM kitesurf cruises offer courses for beginners, intermediates and experts.

Why a catamaran is particularly suitable for kitesurfing cruises:

1. **Stability**: The catamaran, with its twin hulls, offers great stability at sea. This maintains a comfortable environment for the kitesurfer, even in waves or strong winds. Unlike a monohull, it is less likely to heel (lean) significantly, making it easier to board and launch the kite.

2. **Space**: Catamarans often offer more space on board, both for kitesurfing equipment and for people. It is easier to store boards, sails, and accessories in an organized manner, while still providing a comfortable living space for extended cruises.

3. **Easy Access to the Water**: Thanks to their shallow draft, catamarans can approach the coast, allowing kitesurfers to depart directly from the boat or easily reach kitesurfing spots. Additionally, catamarans often have rear platforms that facilitate access to the water.

4. **Speed and Maneuverability**: With sails and a good ability to catch the wind, a catamaran can move quickly, making it easy to reach different kitesurfing spots. Maneuverability is also an asset for positioning yourself in the right position relative to the wind and the sea.

5. **Comfort for Cruising**: In addition to its practicality for kitesurfing, a catamaran offers excellent sailing comfort with less rolling. This allows kitesurfers to rest between sessions without suffering too much from seasickness.

In summary, a sailing catamaran combines stability, space, comfort, and accessibility, making it an ideal option for a kitesurfing cruise.

 What ?

Activities offered on board:

  • Kitesurf
  • Wingfoil
  • Windsurf
  • Initiation à la voile
  • Pêche
  • Vidéo correction pour progresser rapidement

During this Watersports cruise, we’ll teach you how to sail, show you the most beautiful spots, and offer Boardrider training for all levels, depending on the conditions and your preferences.

We’ll be at your disposal to teach you how to learn kitesurfing in perfect safety conditions, and enjoy the thrill of a stand-up paddleboard ride, all in a fun and groovy atmosphere!

It’s YOUR vacation, and YOU decide: Take your time, relax, eat, fish, have fun kitesurfing or other activities, or participate in the boat’s maneuvers while you sail.

The itinerary: Modifiable according to your needs and desires

Our kitesurfing catamaran adventures last a full week, i.e., 7 nights/8 days. You’ll embark on a Saturday afternoon and depart the boat the following Saturday morning. The embarkation port will be either Athens, Paros, or Mykonos, and during these 8 days, we’ll explore the best kitesurfing spots in the Cyclades.

Although the Meltemi can blow for days without a break and always comes from the north, it’s not a very predictable wind. In fact, it can vary from the NE or NW and blow from 25 knots to 40 knots. You can only predict the actual conditions a day or two in advance, so there’s not much room for advance planning! It’s therefore difficult to have a fixed itinerary, and the program will most likely change constantly. On the other hand, this is also the beauty of our trips! We’ll always explore new spots depending on the wind conditions.

Kites and Wings recommended in Greece?

KITES :

Choosing the right kite is crucial to fully enjoy this trip! We recommend 7 and 10 m kites for a 70 kg (154 lb) rider, 9 and 12 m for an 80 kg (176 lb) rider, and 10 and 14 m for heavier riders. Ideally, you would need three different kite sizes to cover all wind forces, but we know that traveling with a large baggage is a nightmare. We offer kite rental to lighten your luggage and can supplement the kite you don’t intend to bring.

WINGS :

For wing sizes, we recommend 2.8m and 4.5m wings for a 70kg (154lb) rider, 3.4m and 5.5m wings for an 80kg (176lb) rider, and 4.2m and 6.7m wings for heavier riders. The choice of wing foil board depends on your weight and experience. Rental and lesson options are available if needed.
